West Northamptonshire Council, in partnership with Brackley Town Council, has launched new dog friendly stickers for local businesses. If you spot one of these stickers in a shop or business window, you can be confident that dogs are welcome inside.

It is a simple and easy way for residents and visitors to see where they can bring their four legged friends while out and about in town. Keep an eye out as you walk around Brackley to see if you spot any, but don’t forget that this is a brand new project, so it may take a little while for all participating businesses to get their stickers.

As always, it is worth being mindful when visiting with dogs, and we kindly ask everyone to be considerate of other customers and the business owners. Even in dog friendly spaces, a muddy, very wet or excitable pup might not always be the best match, and we recommend keeping them on the lead unless the business owner says they are happy for them to roam free.

We hope these stickers make life a little easier for dog owners, and help support local businesses at the same time.
