School Applications for September 2027

A reminder to parents and carers in West Northamptonshire that applications are now open for school places starting in September 2027. Applications can be made for reception (for children who will be four by 31 August 2027), year 3 at a junior school and year 7 at a secondary school.

Application deadlines:

• Year 7: midnight, Saturday 31 October 2026
• Reception and Year 3: midnight, Friday 15 January 2027

Applications must be received by the relevant deadline to be considered on time. Late applications will be considered in later allocation rounds. There is a separate application process for children with an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan.
