Upcoming Road Closures - April 2026

We would like to make residents aware of several upcoming road closures and traffic management measures taking place in the local area over the coming months. These works are part of ongoing infrastructure improvements, utility diversions, and road surfacing projects. Please see the details below for each location and planned activity.

• A422: Brackley - Westbury
• B4525 Welsh Lane: Greatworth - Helmdon
• Bulls Lane: Thorpe Mandeville

A422: Brackley - Westbury

Works are scheduled on the A422 between Brackley and Westbury to allow utilities in the area to be redirected as part of the construction of a new overbridge.

Road Closures: Fridays 8:00pm to Mondays 5:30am

EKFB Update - A422 traffic lights and road closure (PDF)

B4525 Welsh Lane: Greatworth - Helmdon

Road surfacing and minor works on a section of Welsh Lane near the entrance to Greatworth Hall. Three-way temporary traffic lights will be in place to facilitate the works.

Road closure to facilitate the installation of a new utility across Bulls Lane at its junction with Banbury Road, Thorpe Mandeville.
