Healthy Lifestyle Support Survey

West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is reviewing its healthy lifestyle services to explore how support could be improved and made easier for residents to access in the future.
The Council is asking residents to share their views through an online consultation to help understand what matters most to them, what helps them stay healthy and the challenges they face when looking after their health and wellbeing.
Healthy lifestyles cover a range of areas, including physical health, mental and emotional wellbeing, and social connections. This could include staying active, eating well, maintaining a healthy weight, stopping smoking, reducing alcohol intake, managing stress and feeling connected to family, friends and the wider community.
The review will explore how different types of support could work together to better meet local needs. This could include stop smoking services, adult weight management, health checks, advice on improving physical and mental wellbeing, support for children and young people to maintain a healthy weight, and links to local groups and community activities.
WNC wants to hear from residents of all ages and backgrounds, whether they currently use healthy lifestyle services or not. The survey takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and responses are anonymous. Feedback will help inform the future planning and development of health and wellbeing support across West Northamptonshire, although completing the survey does not guarantee that specific services will be provided.
Residents can share their views by reading more about the project, and completing the online survey via the link to the West Northamptonshire Council's website, linked below.
The consultation closes on 18 November 2026.
