Marketplace Blue Badge Spaces to Be Repainted

If you have been to town recently, you might have noticed that the disabled parking bays in the Marketplace Car Park have been repainted by West Northamptonshire Council (WNC).

Although it’s great to see our town get a bit of a touch-up, residents got in contact with WNC shortly after the work was complete to let them know the new bays were too narrow, making it challenging for Blue Badge holders to get in and out of their vehicles.

We have been in touch with WNC to see how they planned to resolve the issue, and they have confirmed that their road marking team will be sent out to re-mark the bays.

We have not yet been provided with a date for the work. However, we will share any updates we receive from West Northamptonshire Council, so keep an eye on our website and socials for more information.
